TV Studio Internship
Since September 2013, I have been interning at a local public access television studio in Guilford CT, which I have done video editing, mentoring producers, directing shows in the studio, and I have created some of my own videos as well.
GCTV’s Mission
For over 40 years, GCTV has existed to help facilitate citizens’ first amendment right to freedom of speech. GCTV provides free training and access to video production equipment and broadcast facilities to any Guilford community member interested in producing non-commercial programming to be aired on one of our channels. Producers can choose to be trained in studio production, field production and editing.
This presentation will provide a brief overview of the different genres and periods of storytelling will be discussed as well as opportunities for career advancement in media.
